Sip it up

Since I started with my fitness, I was looking for something healthy to drink and eat. Since it is winters, I thought why not try a soup. I remember having soup at my uncle’s place and immediately asked him for a recipe. I want to share the recipe with you. Let’s start.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Regular Onion (finely chopped), optional ingredient
  • 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 beetroot (grated)
  • 2 carrots (grated)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper powder (a pinch)
  • Ghee (1 tspn)
  • 5 Garlic cloves

How to prepare:

  • Mix all the vegetables and pressure cook
  • Once cooked, strain the mixture

Do not throw the pulp. It can be used to make another dish – patties

  • Add salt and black pepper powder to the soup
  • Temper (tadka) smashed garlic cloves in ghee
  • Add the tempered mixture in the soup
  • Heat it up, stir well and serve hot before meal
